Huntington native, Jacob Plate, was recently recognized for his art work in a children’s book, “The Frog Scrogs...Straight Out Of Swampton”. A State Electric counter salesman and Marshall University Art Graduate, teamed up with author Brandee McCoy for a freshly written kids book. A book signing was held at Empire Books in Huntington, WV selling over 60 copies in just two hours. The Frog Scrogs is a series of books that will follow one funky blue frog named Marcus who imagines a family of musical colorful frogs outside of his window as he escapes the possibility of becoming extinct.
