Virginia remains a crucial component of the State Electric Supply Co. footprint and the territory’s manager, Dave Creed, says diversifying the company’s services has led to numerous market gains.
“Service Makes State,” and that saying couldn’t be truer when it comes to the work the Project Management Group is undertaking. Customers are saving money on every facet of both large, and small-scale projects State Electric is involved in thanks to the talented specialists within the Project Management group.
The Roanoke branch has been a shining example of the strides State Electric is making in the region. Within the past few months, Roanoke assisted with a multitude of successful large-scale projects. A couple of examples that highlight the tireless work they’re performing can be found at Pulaski County Middle School, and Virginia Tech University. At Pulaski Middle, Gary Kesler spearheaded the effort to stage a lighting package for the school, and deliver material as needed. At Virginia Tech, Chris Caldwell spent time performing detailed walk-throughs to help narrow fixture types and locations. He then gave a detailed scope of the work and provided the hardware needed to complete these installations. Everything remained within budget and was completed on schedule.
Customer appreciation events have also been a priority in Virginia, as they are at every State Electric location. A recent event in Christiansburg was attended by more than 300 customers, and another strong showing is expected for a customer event in August at the Wytheville store.
Unparalleled service sets State Electric apart, and the hard work from the Virginia region gives customers a daily reminder that “Service Makes State” is more than just a motto. Service is now, and always will be, the foundation of State Electric Supply Co.
